Your role and responsibilities

ABB Drives Estonia factory looks forward to welcoming a new colleague who is committed to making a real difference in safety and wellbeing. As an HSE Specialist, you play a critical role in ensuring that everyone returns home safely every day- while building a strong safety culture and supporting sustainable operations. You will be reporting and investigating incidents, gathering feedback, conducting root cause analysis and communicating lessons learned and best practices to the wider business.

The working model for the role is: #LIonsite

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power division in Estonia.

You will be mainly accountable for

  • Supporting the implementation of HSE policies, standards, and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with local legislation and ABB global requirements
  • Conducting risk assessments and workplace inspections
  • Investigating incidents and supporting root cause analysis
  • Driving safety awareness and behavioral safety initiatives
  • Supporting and coaching managers on HSE topics
  • Assisting in organizing trainings, audits, and safety campaigns
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of HSE performance

Qualifications for the role

  • Relevant educational background
  • Prior experience in HSE, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation and standards
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in Estonian and English, Russian is beneficial
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards is beneficial
