This Position reports to:
Sales Support Specialist:
As a proposal engineer, He(She) is expected to implement proposal for PAS (Press Automation System) independently.
As following steps below:
To get potential project information from the market, close work with Sales team.
Do a firsthand information evaluation. Guide/lead customers to develop Press automation solutions.
Developing and maintain long time relationship with customer.
Preparing formal technical proposal files, including project schedule, cycle time analysis, station concept and other RFQ requested documents within schedule.
Make technical presentation and present to customer with good skills.
Make the accurate commercial cost calculation, closely work with both SCM and execution team to provide reliable and economic solution.
Prepare technical presentation and cost calculate with ABB standard format and present them for internal risk review.
Prepare formal commercial offers to customer according to customer request format within schedule.
Hand over technical proposal and cost calculation to project execution team. Supporting the project execution when necessary.
Job requirements:
More than 5 years of experience in the press automation solutions, experience of automotive industry is necessary (Both Teir1 and OEM are OK). Better with 3 years+ proposal experience.
Bachelor of science, engineering study, mechanical background preferred;
Proficient in using various office APP, Autocad and solidworks, good at Robotstudio is preferred.
Perfect English speaking, explicit oral/written expression.
Effective communication and presentation skills
Accepts irregular business travel.
