This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Soft Bank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. Position Details
Reports to: Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop new customers and end users, increase profitable sales for robotics projects in Lab automation or life science applications
- Work under pressure to fulfill sales targets
- Acquisition of key customers/SIs in relevant fields, and well maintain them
- Work together with Engineering team to develop technical solutions to meet customers' requirements and close the deal
- Analyze and communicate necessary operative marketing activities (fairs, end customer marketing, new applications road show etc.)
- Responsible to deliver the annual sales target in both quantity of robots and sales revenue
- Submit weekly report and update project pursuit list on a timely basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years working experience in laboratory and life science instrumentation industry
- Be familiar with project selling preferred
- Good presentation, selling and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral communication skills required
- Proficient oral & written English skills
- Proven ability to work as a member of a collaboration sales team
- With high flexibility and work hard
- Proactive, aggressive and initiative
