Role Overview

This position reports to: Accounting & Reporting Manager-Payable

You will be working as a Finance Analyst and will be part of the Finance Transformation Project in Global Data Services (GDS) based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to the GDS process lead.

This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Global Data Services division in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Providing support in ensuring financial transactions are correctly recorded in Central Finance (CFIN)
• Identifying errors and resolving them at the quickest possible time
• Collaborating with various cross-functional teams in Finance, Business and Information Systems
• Supporting preparation of relevant data extracts to identify various financial transactions which are not flowing to CFIN
• Using the Knowledge book and identifying errors by following the defined process
• Working with the respective SMEs of various sub streams in Purchase to Pay (P2P), Orders to Cash (O2C), Record to Report (R2R) and Plan to Deliver (P2D)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for timely resolution of errors
• Ensuring Trial Balance is matched at month end
• Supporting the passing of necessary accounting entries during month end

Qualifications

• Master's in Business Administration with specialization in Finance
• Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred, or freshers with good academic track record
• Good knowledge of accounting and reporting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel & PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAP / S4 Hana (added advantage)
