Position Overview

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor-Weekend Day Shift

About the Role

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including servomotors, controls, compressors, and related components. Interpret electrical schematics, operate electrical tools, and research technical information needed to repair new or unfamiliar equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, maintain accurate repair records, and keep the maintenance area organized, clean, and compliant with all safety procedures (including lockout/tagout). Prioritize workplace safety, collaborate closely with machine operators, and support overtime needs to keep equipment running reliably.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Repair servomotors, controls, compressors, and related components
• Interpret electrical schematics and operate electrical tools
• Research technical information needed to repair new or unfamiliar equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate repair records
• Keep the maintenance area organized, clean, and compliant with all safety procedures
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures
• Prioritize workplace safety
• Collaborate closely with machine operators
• Support overtime needs to keep equipment running reliably

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years in manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, control systems, and PLC troubleshooting
• Skilled in reading technical documentation
• Ability to diagnose machine issues and repair heavy machinery
• Ability to clearly communicate root causes
• Adaptable and organized
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to cross-train and learn new technologies
• Strong professional communication skills

Preferred:

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field
• Alternatively, 2 years of related experience may substitute for the degree
