This Position reports to: Business Manager

  • Commercial & Operations

Your Responsibilities

  • Own the Challenge/Take on the Journey
  • Ensure a thorough understanding and foster a culture of continuous improvement behaviors, methodology, and processes within the organization
  • Develop business action plans for the local business of Automotive China, aligned with global & local BL strategy and targets
  • Monitor plan implementation and track any deviations for corrective action
  • Prepare annual budget, oversee progress, and determine measures to address cost-related issues as necessary, to manage operations within the allocated budget and resources
  • Develop programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations
  • Assess risks and safety hazards and implement plans to ensure people and equipment safety
  • Ensure that the organization takes into account an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations as per agreed quality, service levels, and lead time
  • Work with cutting-edge technology and top experts to engineer solutions that shape the future

What It Takes to Run What Runs the World

  • Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Control and Automation or Industrial Engineering related
  • Solid management experience in operations and project management in Automotive or automation industry
  • Proven experience in a multi-cultural context within a large organization
  • Great knowledge of financial reports, operating budgets, problem solving techniques
  • Strong multi-stakeholder management and a strong collaborative spirit
  • Open for change and result oriented
  • Agile and proactive profile with good communication, influencing, coaching and leadership skills
  • A mindset to innovate, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement
