Role Overview
Reports to: Sales Manager
Work Model: Onsite
Business Area: Motion Services Business Area
In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. You will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Focus on achieving volume, mix, and profitability targets by selling ABB's products, systems, and services
- Identify and develop new market opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their needs, promote ABB's full offering, and ensure a positive experience throughout the sales process
- Prepare and manage sales plans using ABB tools
- Coordinate offers with relevant departments and ensure technical and financial accuracy in proposals
- Support marketing activities
- Manage sales administration
- Assist in project management and cash collection
- Communicate clearly on delivery, payment, and contract terms
Qualifications
- National Diploma / University degree (engineering background preferable)
- 3-5 years track record in sales or engineering related field to demonstrate capability to achieve business results
- Experience of business development with sales records for new customers/markets
- Market and products specific knowledge of drive products (compulsory)
- Experience with sales of electrical or mechanical products
- Proficient in computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels
