Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) products, systems, and digital solutions within an assigned market. You will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, develop strong relationships across utilities, industry, and infrastructure customers, and deliver sustainable order growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. By leveraging ABB’s medium- and low-voltage portfolio and ABB Ability™ enabled solutions, you will contribute to resilient, reliable, and future-ready power distribution systems.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #

This role is contributing to the Distribution Solution under ABB Electrification business area in Northern, region of Vietnam. Main stakeholders are Tech Pro, Project Management, product, and marketing team**.You will be mainly accountable for**:

  • Driving sales of ELDS portfolios including medium- and low-voltage switchgear, protection and control products, and digital solutions, achieving volume, mix, and profitability targets in line with business strategy.

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships across utilities, industrial, and infrastructure segments, understanding application needs, and positioning ABB’s complete distribution, protection, and control solutions.

  • Identifying and developing new market and business opportunities, supporting go-to-market initiatives, and communicating the value proposition of ABB Ability™ enabled connected solutions.

  • Preparing and managing technical and commercial offers in collaboration with bid, proposal, and marketing teams, ensuring compliant pricing, contractual terms, and support for order execution and cash collection.

Qualifications for the role:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical or business discipline, fluent in Vietnamese and business level English is required for this role.

  • You have proven experience in B2B or business development within electrification, power distribution, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial markets.

  • You demonstrate solid understanding of medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, including switchgear, protection, control, and related solutions.

  • Prior sales experience selling through EPC, M&E contractor, end customers, panel builders, and main contractors while influencing sales through decision makers.

  • You are experienced in consultative and solution-based selling, strong commercial acumen, translating customer and application requirements into competitive technical and commercial proposals.

  • You are skilled in account management, pipeline development, forecasting, and executing sales plans using structured sales tools and processes.

  • You are customer-focused, collaborative, and proactive, with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across functions and regions.
