This Position reports to:

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities: The Technical Sales Support specialist will provide technical and commercial support for the business unit in India, working closely with the EUOPC teams. The role requires strong technical understanding, high resilience, and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

The work model for the role is: #LI_Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Operation Centers and Quality division based in Chennai, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Provide technical support for sales activities, including product selection, configuration, and solution design.

  • Prepare technical documentation, quotations, and proposals in alignment with customer requirements and internal standards and Collaborate with solution manager and proposal teams across regions to ensure accurate and timely delivery of technical information.

  • Analyze customer specifications and translate them into compliant technical solutions. Support the bid and proposal process, ensuring high‑quality outputs and adherence to deadlines.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders in India, Europe and Asia, maintaining clarity and professionalism under pressure.

  • Manage productivity, drive standardization, delivery quality & competitive solution and Participate in Bidding strategy, cost optimization, technical Solution innovation, support project handover.

  • Managing timely Technical & Commercial offer delivery, monitoring quality of bids and driving productivity.

  • Cost calculation & Ownership of commercial offer delivery. Close interaction with Sales Solution team for smooth deliverable and continuous improvement. Ensure adhering to business governance and procedure

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory) with 10-12+yrs experience.

  • Solid understanding of power engineering and electrical equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.

  • Experience with industrial automation or LV Drives/ power systems is an advantage.

  • Marines experience will add an added advantage.
