The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NCYour role and responsibilities:

• Performing physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validating manufacturing processes.

• Executes the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.

• Assisting the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.

• Inspecting and troubleshooting any identified issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

• Maintaining accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.

Qualifications for the role:

• 1+ years of working in an electrical or wiring experience or applicable electrical course work

• Reading and understanding electrical drawings

• Data Analysis & Reporting

• Experience with customer relationships

• Experience performing planned maintenance of electrical equipment

• Basic computer knowledge and skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, other hand tools, and electrical current & voltage measurement tools as needed.

• Knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, AC/DC electrical circuits

• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed

• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs

• Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
