Position Overview

Reports to: Research Team Manager

  • Sensor Solutions

Work Model: #

Minimum internship duration: 3 months

Internship + Thesis: 6-9 months

Key Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Software (SW) development of a sensor solution for an ABB power product
  • Sensor integration into a python-based SW
  • Implementing, testing and further developing existing AI SW for anomaly detection and/or Time series data
  • Designing and developing an SW-GUI
  • The possibility to write a Master's Thesis is given

Qualifications

  • You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a similar field
  • You have profound experience in software development, with skills in languages such as Python
  • You possess hands-on knowledge in AI, especially anomaly detection and/or time series data
  • You have Basic knowledge of GUI implementation in Python or the willingness to learn
  • Experience with hardware interfaces (to sensor systems) is a plus
  • You speak German and are fluent in English, spoken and written
  • You work independently and manage tasks autonomously
  • You are an excellent team player with a focus on open communication
  • You have a customer- and solution-oriented mindset with focus on delivering effective results
