Position Overview

Reports to: Business Manager

• Portfolio

Leads the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects and ensures that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Supports (when required) the local management in overseeing team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, especially in smaller units. Takes accountability (when required) for a portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals
• Provide leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification
• Support local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders
• Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; MBA preferred
