The Large Motors and Generators Division offers a comprehensive product portfolio of large AC motors and generators. The Division's induction, synchronous and special design motors and synchronous generators power critical applications across industry, infrastructure and marine transportation. Combining the best available materials with superior technology, the large motors and generators are designed to operate efficiently and reliably, even for challenging processes or applications and to have low life cycle costs.
Position Overview
This Position reports to: IS Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Application Lifecycle Management – Implementation and Integration, overseeing the installation, configuration, and integration of new applications into existing systems
- Project Management and Application Delivery – Responsible for technical management in the project, including the architecture design, system design and software development and test
- Collaboration and Communication – Stakeholder Management, working with business stakeholders, IT staff, and vendors to ensure applications meet business needs
- Documentation – Maintaining system documentation, including configuration settings, technical specifications, and user guides
- Training – Providing training to end-users on how to use new applications
Qualifications for the Role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field
- Experienced IT Professionals with a passion for business and technology, and a track record of leading a sizable team on IT application development and operation
- Good understanding of the Application Management Lifecycle and latest relevant methodologies
- Strong knowledge of program/project management methodologies with at least 5 years of experience practicing Agile methodologies
- Skilled in influencing for positive outcomes with business thinking
- Strong working knowledge of software architecture/system design and development
- Expertise of software design and development, preferably in Microsoft C#
- 2+ years of experience in the configuration and management of Azure environments
- Expertise in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and related tools
- Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to taking ownership of projects and responsibility for outcomes and timelines
- Demonstrate leadership, while handling crisis situations
- Demonstrates a structured, inclusive approach to problem-solving, valuing diverse perspectives to deliver well-rounded and innovative solutions
- Naturally curious, approachable, and social, fostering relationships built on mutual respect and actively breaking down barriers to inclusion
- Motivated by collaborating with people of varied backgrounds, experiences, and education levels, ensuring equity in opportunities and outcomes
- Strong technical curiosity and a demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Fluency in both written and spoken local language and English
