About the Role
Reports to: Product Marketing Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies for the relevant division/business unit/product group, to maximize profit and market share, while ensuring customer satisfaction with ABB. Each day, you will follow a robust pricing infrastructure and pricing policies to deliver measurable results. You will also showcase your expertise by providing support for developing effective and efficient standards and special pricing strategy in line with the global division strategy, value, competition, and cost/profit.

Responsibilities
- Ensure ELSE's pricing structure is competitive and aligned with market trends, customer demands, and value proposition
- Ensure key accounts/industrial segment requirements are met to ensure consistency
- Develop and implement a sustainable process to gather market pricing data
- Conduct regular research on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor pricing strategies
- Develop and implement pricing models (e.g., market-based pricing, value-based pricing) that align with both market and organizational goals
- Work closely with the marketing & sales teams to ensure pricing strategies are well-communicated and understood and that promotional campaigns align with pricing objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business or similar field
- 6+ years of pricing specialist experience
- Strong ability to analyze market data, pricing trends, and customer behavior
- Knowledge of pricing processes
- Understanding of cost structures, profit margins, financial statements and performance targets
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey pricing strategies to various stakeholders
- Understanding of general sales practices, sales enablement, channel sales, contract & risk management
