Position Overview

This position reports to: Technical Support Manager

Responsibilities

• Offers technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB's products/systems/applications
• Provides technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations
• Performs analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs
• Proposes the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries
• Supports the manager in preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations on complex product issues, to both internal staff and customers
• Provides/delivers product/solution/service-related training
• Supports the manager in preparing and validating technical articles to publish

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technician qualification
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• More than 3 years relevant experience in technical support or solution engineering
• Branch experience in electrical building infrastructures / industrial automation / building automation
• Background knowledge in BMS, HVAC, KNX, security, energy management, and emergency lighting solutions
