About the Role
This position reports to the Portfolio Manager. You'll play a key role in driving profitable growth and shaping the mid-term strategy of our solution portfolio as a Product Manager for Distribution Infrastructure Solutions.
As part of the Distribution Infrastructure Agile Team, you'll collaborate across functions to develop, optimize, and maintain our solution offering—always with a focus on creating customer value. You'll take a strategic market perspective to define a compelling vision and lead innovative solution development by translating customer needs into clear product requirements.
You'll support the full lifecycle of our existing portfolio, aligning with market opportunities, Agile Unit and Business Line strategies, and targets—developed together with fellow Solution Portfolio Managers and Agile Team Members.
In addition to your Agile Team role, you'll be part of a Chapter — a professional community of Solution Portfolio Managers led by a Chapter Leader, who will also be your direct line manager. The Chapter provides a collaborative space for coaching, development, and continuous growth in your field, together with fellow SPMs from different Agile Teams.
The work model is hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the product range of responsibility is optimized to serve the available market
- Own the technical and market specifications for the product needs and determine a business plan that supports sustainable growth
- Lead life cycle management process
- Gather and analyze market intelligence and establish vision for future offering
- Understand and define market segmentation and related product positioning in cooperation with fellow PMs
- Act as interface and node-point between the external market and the internal functions (e.g., Sales, Operations, and R&D), forecasting trends on a regular basis to ensure Operation's capability to fulfill customer orders
- Set targets and monitor product costs, giving input to Operations functions to maximize competitiveness and profitability
- Contribute to technical research and development efforts by envisioning future needs
- Define new product plans, set technical, price, cost, and capital expenditure targets
- Contribute to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, follow-up of product/system/service portfolio performance
- Prioritize new product development projects with responsibility for achievement of targets (product characteristics, time, costs, quality, capital expenditure, pay-back) and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Initiate and drive product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation across channels
- Define product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensure clear communication to channels and users
- Responsible for product profitability and margin
- Monitor global sales target fulfilment and tender volumes and act as appropriate
- Define pricing strategies and ensure correct pricing is applied for all countries within relevant business areas
- Actively join in developing product management processes and tools, including interfaces to other key functions of the organization
- Initiate and drive cross-functional and cross-organization product and solution innovation teams according to market needs

Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience preferred, working in the field of electrical/low voltage equipment
- Capacity for strategic, systemic thinking and leading peers through creating shared vision
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Sound knowledge of low-voltage technologies, low-voltage distribution or cable distribution cabinets will be considered a plus
- Professional English-speaking skills are required; knowledge in Swedish is beneficial
- Able to travel
