Position Overview

This Position reports to: Local/Hub Division Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer with expertise in instrumentation and process analyzers to join ABB Measurements and Analytics Division - technical services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to customers by installing, commissioning, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation and industrial process analyzers and analytical systems used in process automation and control.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
• Deploying technical Service capabilities and troubleshooting skills to perform successful commissioning & Start-up, regular maintenance, rehabilitation and conducting professional troubleshooting and site training for ABB Instrumentation and Process Analytics devices and Analytical systems
• Recommending and preparing of spare parts list based on installed base
• Supporting Sales Support team to conduct Site Surveys Activities for projects
• Taking all measures to secure maximum level of customers satisfaction for provided services and Handling customer feedback (Net Promoter Score (NPS))
• Promoting ABB Measurement and Analytics Advanced Services portfolio by exploring customer's needs and raise sales/service opportunities
• Regularly update and compliance to Services Reporting Platforms / Systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics engineering; chemical engineering background is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in Process Analytics (like: Liquid Analyzers, Continuous Gas analyzers & Gas Chromatography) and instrumentation service is a MUST
• Experience in ABB analytical and instrumentation products is a plus
• Fluency in English & Arabic language; French language would be an advantage
• Ability to demonstrate advanced-level skills in using digital platforms, CRM and ERP systems
• Key skills required: time management, organizational ability, stress management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel covering up customer sites across Egypt, North and Central of Africa Regions
