This Position reports to: TAX MANAGER

The individual will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end compliance for indirect taxes for multiple countries. This role will report directly to the Tax Operations Manager. Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Operations Specialist/Sr. Specialist to support the accurate and timely execution of tax-related processes across our organization. This role involves managing tax documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting tax reporting, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to streamline operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Tax Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain and validate tax documentation
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess operational impact

Tax Reporting & Reconciliation

• Assist in preparation and submission of tax filings
• Reconcile tax and reporting data across systems
• Support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities to improve tax workflows and reduce manual effort
• Collaborate with technology teams to implement automation solutions

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams
• Liaise with external advisors and regulatory bodies as needed

Risk Management

• Monitor and mitigate tax-related risks
• Maintain internal controls and documentation for tax processes

Qualifications

• Minimum working experience in Taxes: 5-8 years
• CA/CWA/CA Inter/MBA Finance/M.Com/B.Com
• Tax knowledge of overseas countries preferred
• Problem-solving ability to resolve functional tax issues with respect to domestic and overseas countries
• Good working experience in SAP/CFIN/MS Office
• Able to manage a large team of members
• Good presentation, communication, listening, and execution skills
• Willing to work in shifts based on requirements
