Position Overview

This Position reports to: EG Service Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

You will be mainly responsible for:

  • Providing technical support and solving problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category (installation; maintenance; repairs; engineering and consulting; advanced services; extensions, upgrades and retrofits; end of life services, replacements, etc.)
  • Designing custom mechanical components and assemblies for electrical enclosures, switchgear, control panels, retrofitting MV & LV circuit breakers and related industrial products
  • Generating and maintaining bill of material, fabrication drawings, and assembly instructions, ensuring designs comply with applicable safety codes and standards
  • Providing technical support during production and assisting in resolving design-related issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, with 2–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in an industrial or electrical manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Design MV & LV switchgears and basic knowledge of technical standards
  • Experience in 2D & 3D modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works, EPLAN)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
