Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, plan, and implement procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company, procurement, and supply base management instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.

The work model for the role is: onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

• For local category sourcing parts, make sourcing strategy independently, evaluate and develop the supply base. Introducing new suppliers as appropriate to meet the current and future needs of the business

• Manages planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Company guidelines.

• Participating in the contract negotiation of the global suppliers together with the GCM, and leading the contract negotiations of the local suppliers

• Ensures identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability) in accordance with Company policies. Provides and maintains standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines.

• Qualifications for the role- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Commercial or similar degree

• Minimum 6 years sourcing related working experience

• Good knowledge in the machining/mechanical category & industry would be preferred

• Excellent knowledge in sourcing methods; supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, analytical skills and legal/contractual knowledge

• Excellent communication, cooperation and influencing skills when working with different senior level roles internally and externally with different suppliers

• Fluent English in both speaking and writing

• Ability to handle complexity and work under pressure, travel sometimes at short notice
