Reports to: Quality and Operational Excellence Manager
Work model: Onsite
Location: ELDS in Egypt
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites
- Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services
- Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary
- Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base

Qualifications
- Up to 5 years of experience in supply quality or relevant field
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics engineering fields or equivalent
- Expertise in supplier qualification and development techniques
- Advanced product quality planning (APQP) skills
- Leadership and change management capabilities
- Proficiency in communicating in both English and Arabic
- Certifications in the field of quality (example: ISO 9001 certification)
