Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for Motion Drive Products market in Mexico. Your work will help increase ABB’s market penetration and support the achievement of our growth ambitions.

Every day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business division’s sales strategy to meet both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable manner. This includes a strong focus on orders, revenue, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.

You will also play a key leadership role by guiding, developing, and coaching the Channel Sales organization.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products division in Mexico. Main stakeholders are Distributors, System Integrator and Panel Builders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the channel sales strategy for the assigned market (global/regional) in alignment with the overall marketing and sales strategy, ensuring consistent follow-up on progress and results.
  • Lead the annual performance evaluation and forecasting processes for channel partners.
  • Ensure effective communication, promotion, and training activities for all channel partners.
  • Design global policies and relevant standards (e.g., market segmentation, customer due diligence, cybersecurity) for channel partner evaluation and certification.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Drive Products sales (variable frequency drives, PLC, HMI, automation products).
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in commercial or sales functions.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience with Salesforce, account management, business planning, commercial policies, distribution contracts, and due diligence processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
