Role Overview

Reports to: Procurement Team Lead

Work Model: #

Division: Electrification Services

Location: San Luis Potosi

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures
• Confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements
• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value
• Ensuring the SAP Ariba platform is updated as defined in the procedure
• Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or Similar
• 1+ Years experience in Purchasing in the manufacturing industry
• Advanced English
• SAP Knowledge (Purchasing/Stock/Planning/Accounts Payable transactions)
• SAP Ariba knowledge desirable
• Excel proficiency
