Position Overview

Reports to: Produktový manažer Virtual factory

As a Product Specialist, you will work at the intersection of modern industrial technologies and real-world applications, transforming complex engineering challenges into practical, value-driven solutions. You will become the go-to expert for electronic motor starters and digital condition monitoring systems, collaborating closely with customers, sales teams, and product development to ensure our solutions perform in the field.

This role is ideal for hands-on engineers or motivated graduates who want to build strong technical expertise while staying closely connected to business needs and customer applications. You will continuously expand your knowledge, track market trends, and translate customer and industry requirements into tangible product improvements — making a visible impact while growing your career.

Work model: Hybrid (Lithuania)

Main Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert in smart motor control, digital monitoring, and industrial communication systems
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, and field teams across the full product lifecycle
• Support customers and internal teams with hands-on technical advice, presentations, and training
• Create and maintain technical documentation, application guides, and training materials
• Understand and comply with global and regional standards, market regulations, and customer requirements, and assess their impact on the current portfolio
• Work on real projects by evaluating technical specifications, preparing design concepts, and troubleshooting, recommending efficient and value-driven solutions
• Conduct market size and trend analyses as well as competitor benchmarking, identifying offer gaps and evaluating ABB's market position
• Manage technical specifications of assigned products and support the Product Manager in business case development, including offer development, maintenance, and cost optimization
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, digitalization, and industrial communication standards

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrotechnology (Automation or Telecommunication is a plus)
• Enjoy working with electronic controllers and network communication, solving technical challenges, supporting others, and promoting entrusted solutions
• Strong willingness to learn quickly and grow into a technical expert role
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand applications and solve technical problems
• Strong communication skills and a people-oriented mindset, with empathy for customer needs
• Confidence in working with customers, sales teams, and internal experts
• Fluency in Czech and English
• Valid EU driving license and willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%)
