Position Overview

Reports to: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Work model: Onsite

Location: Bangalore, India / Poland

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation R&D.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including annual budgets, forecasts, long‑range plans, and cost/variance analysis to drive data‑backed decision-making
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting with strong adherence to internal controls, accounting policies (US GAAP/IFRS), and compliance requirements
  • Drive governance and cost management by monitoring OPEX, CAPEX, headcount, productivity metrics, and challenging spend to align with strategic priorities
  • Act as a trusted business partner to functional leaders by translating financial insights into clear recommendations, supporting vendor negotiations, and influencing decisions
  • Enhance financial processes through standardization, automation, improved reporting tools, and cross-collaboration with Shared Services/GBS teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting with professional certification of CMA or CA
  • Professional Accounting Certification with CMA / CA (qualified)
  • 5-8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance with detailed experience in CFIN implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a thorough, detail‑oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills; fluent in English
  • Hands‑on experience in SAP CFIN, MS Office, and ABB reporting tools
  • Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries
  • Self‑motivated with a strong commitment to quality
  • High say‑do ratio; ability to brainstorm, deep‑dive, and find ways to deliver results as per RARO division management requirements
