Product Marketing Manager – MV GIS

About the Role
This position reports to the EL Product Marketing Manager and is based in Nashik, India, contributing to the Electrification business Distribution Solution division. The work model for this role is onsite.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent the Primary Gas Insulated Switchgear portfolio and play a role to drive sales and market growth. Each day, you will oversee tendering and marketing activities and support Sales organizations in driving sales and services for their respective products. You will also showcase your expertise by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global/local product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy, including the tendering activity for MV GIS portfolio
- Leading a team of people (5-6 members) for quotation management
- Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested
- Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate
- Ensuring balanced growth for all product variants in the business unit and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach
Qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Domestic Marketing & Tendering of MV Switchgear
- Immersed in Marketing function in Switchgear market
- Hands-on experience in leading Tendering, Preparing Techno Commercial Bids, Technical Discussions with Customer and Product Positioning
- Enhanced knowledge of MV Switchgear (GIS)
- Knowledge of SFDC & Quotation management (experience in using configurator would be good)
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (full time)
- Fluent in English communication
