Position Overview

Reports to: Sales Support Manager

Work Model: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Sales Support function within Automation Energy Industries in SSA. You will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.

Main Stakeholders: Sales, Operations, External Customers

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Preparing Full Cost Models, Techno-Commercial writeups, and Tender deliverables to support Sales Offerings to various Clients
• Performing cost analyses to determine the optimal target price for complex Sales Offerings
• Showcasing your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation
• Collaborating across all departments
• Sales, Engineering, Legal, Supply Chain, Tax, Project Management & Planning
• Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries
• Managing multiple projects with tight deadlines to exceptional quality standards

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a Sales Support function
• B-Tech in Electrical Engineering Degree
• Experience with Full Cost Models, Pricing Tools, and writing offer documents
• Experience with Schedules in Power Generation, Water, Oil & Gas, Food and Beverage markets
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in Automation/Electrical products
• Enhanced knowledge of MS Office Suite of applications
• Highly motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Full accountability to allocated tasks
• ECSA registration will be advantageous
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
