Your role and responsibilities
- In this role you will lead the Sales, Service and Project Execution organization of ABB’s Critical Power Business Line in the relevant country
- You will be accountable for overall business performance, strategy implementation and ambitious growth targets achievement in the country
- You will be reporting to the Critical Power, Regional, Sales and Service and Project Execution Leader
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Drive and implement the Critical Power business line commercial strategy (sales, tendering, project execution and services) in the country
- Evaluate market opportunities and deploy appropriate actions in alignment with Business Line’s objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders (e.g. channels, end-users, consultants, suppliers) to ensure commercial success and drive customer satisfaction in the country
- Ensure pre-sales, tendering, system engineering and product marketing functions are properly staffed and aligned with Business Line requirements across country
- Deliver projects on schedule/quality/cost and in alignment with ABB’s project management frameworks
- Manages after-sales support and overall service business in the region in alignment with Business Line objectives
- Work closely with relevant Business Line functions (Project Management, Services, Operations) to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction
- Provides leadership and mentoring to Critical Power country leaders and organizations in the relevant countries
- Closely collaborate with other ABB’s business lines and divisions in the country
Qualifications for the role
- Postgraduate degree or above, in Business or Engineering field. MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in UPS industry and/or Data Center industry
- Wide network across data center and semiconductor industry as well as IT channels
- Strong influencing skills working across functions, geographies, and segments
- Experience in managing large local/regional high-performance organizations
- Strong leadership skills and ability to drive change in a matrix organization
- Familiar with tendering, commissioning and project management processes
- Previous experience in electric (High, Medium Low Voltage Products and Systems) and automation industry
- Understanding of mission critical segments: Data Center, Semiconductor, Infrastructure, Utility
- Knowledge of the industry, local governmental requirements, today’s global market conditions, full awareness of the sales function technicalities/ methodologies, usage of SAP and other modern day smart tools, and how to use them to serve business and customer requirements.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to drive change in a matrix organization.
- Fluent written and oral communications in English.
