This Position reports to:
Marketing & Sales Manager:
- POSITION OVERVIEW
The Market Developer will focus on promoting and developing business for ABB Cable Protection Products, including PMA, Harness Flex, and Adapta Flex, in China market. This role is essentially a dedicated sales position for Cable Protection Products in targeted industries, with responsibility for coordinating with Backend Factories, existing Direct Channels, Local Sales Group and managing end-to-end Business Development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Growth & Strategy

Drive revenue growth for PMA, Harness Flex, and Adapta Flex brands in China market

Analyze Market Trends and Competitive Landscape
-
Develop and execute Local Business Development Strategies aligned with ELIP reginal Business / Market Development Strategies

Identify and develop new business opportunities in but not limited to Rolling Stock, Robotics, Heavy Duty Vehicle and Machinery segments

Customer Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders

Understand customer needs and propose appropriate ELIP solutions

Conduct customer presentations and negotiations

Sales & Revenue
-
Achieve sales targets and revenue goals

Prepare proposals, quotations, and business cases

Manage the sales pipeline and forecast accurately

Collaboration
-
Collaborate with Backend Factories, Market Developer, Operation in developing Business Plan, identifying targeted Segments / Customers, best approach to the Market / Customers

Collaborate with Existing Direct Customers / Channels
-
Coordinate Local Channels and Global Existing Channels in assigning Business Opportunities in order to Maximize Growth and best maintain existing Business

Collaborate with Local Sales to identify Business Opportunities and best way to serve the Customers

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 Years Experience in customer / market development, sales, or related roles
- Knowledge and Experience of Electrical Cable Protection Products and solutions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent English Skill
- Ability to travel as required
