This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to Enable architecture-driven product realization by shaping model-based engineering data structures, CAD modeling standards, and system integrations that ensure deterministic realization of product architecture in engineering design.

Ensure that engineering models, CAD structures, and model-based definitions correctly reflect product architecture and product structures, while enabling traceability, modularity, and controlled downstream configuration.

This role is contributing to the Motion business IEC LV Motors division in Bangalore & Faridabad, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Define and govern engineering data structures supporting model-based systems engineering and model-based definition.

• Define architecture-to-CAD mapping principles ensuring deterministic realization of product architecture.

• Maintain semantic alignment between architecture definitions and engineering models.

• Analyze engineering processes and identify opportunities to improve model-based engineering practices.

• Elicit and document requirements for engineering modeling capabilities, CAD automation, and integration scenarios.

• Identify structural weaknesses in legacy CAD models and engineering data structures.

• Assess impact of modeling decisions on downstream systems including PLM and configuration environments.

• Translate engineering needs into structured solution concepts for system and data model improvements.

Qualifications for the role:

• BE or B Tech, M. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 5+ years experience working with enterprise CAD environments.

• Experience in model-based engineering or model-based product definition.

• Experience working with PLM environments (preferably Windchill).

• Experience working in complex engineering environments with multiple integrated systems.

• Experience with MBSE methodologies and CAD automation or design templating.

• Experience working in architecture-driven product development environments.

• Knowledge of modular product architecture principles.
