Role Overview

Reports to: Scrum Master (ELSP Pilot)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment to deliver value to stakeholders. Each day, you will guide a squad and facilitate collaboration using agile methodologies and moderation skills. You will also showcase your expertise by fostering effective team dynamics, building agile maturity, and helping the squad deliver their best work.

This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiamen and Beijing.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Provides guidance to the teams and seeks knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams on agile methodology and mindset
• Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment
• Contribute to building effective, competent, and high-performing teams
• Ensures adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB
• Leads their development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team
• Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree or above (this position is for a digital project, but we are open for profiles with different backgrounds like psychology, social science, business administration, economics etc.)
• More than 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Motivated to work in an Agile, dynamic workplace and cross functional team
• Experience in leading people with the ability to earn trust while challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Ability to promote positive team dynamics & collaboration within the team and other teams
• Risk management and conflict resolution skills
• Must be able to communicate in English as a working language

Nice to have:

• Manufacturing industry background with hardware/equipment development
• CSM, CSP-SM, PMI-ACP, ICAgile-ATF, ICAgile-ACC certifications, etc.
