- Financial Analytics
Reports to: Finance Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. As a Controller, you will deliver financial insights that support effective decision-making across Marketing, Sales, and Service functions. Your role involves analyzing performance metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to drive financial performance. You will support the Electrification Smart Power and Smart Building divisions in Belgium and Luxembourg, while also collaborating with the Dutch local organization. Key stakeholders include the local Marketing and Sales teams, as well as Finance and Controlling colleagues.
Own the Challenge
- Analyze business performance against budget and forecast, identify variances, and propose improvement actions
- Benchmark key performance indicators against industry peers and internal ABB sites
- Develop financial models to evaluate business scenarios, with a focus on sales and service profitability
- Validate the accuracy of financial data through reconciliations and exception reviews
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and insights to support strategic decision-making
What it Takes to Run what Runs the World
- Skilled in data analysis with advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP, and Every Angle
- Over 5 years of experience in analytical roles, with a proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, Power BI dashboard creation, and hands-on experience with Every Angle
- Excellent communicator across all organizational levels, with a critical and solution-oriented mindset
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with a solid track record in similar roles
- Comfortable communicating in English and Dutch (mandatory); knowledge of French is a plus
