About the Role

The role reports to the Quality Leader and is located in Mebane, North Carolina. As a Manufacturing Quality-Tester, you will be responsible to verifying quality of the work is being completed in functions such as incoming inspection, fabrication, assembly and/or wiring.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validating manufacturing processes
• Assisting the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process
• Inspecting and troubleshooting any identified issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a technical or engineering discipline from an accredited university or college (Degree has a focus in electronics or electrical systems OR 2 years experience with electrical/electronics testing)
• Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications
• Desired experience in ERPs and quality management systems
• Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models
• Skilled in using hand tools and measurement equipment
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
• Initiative, teamwork, flexibility & attention to detail
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
