Reports to: Production Supervisor

Work model: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Responsibilities

• Performing routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts
• Ensuring regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any
• Maintaining detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Keeping track of approved, defective units, and final products
• Executing assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB Standard processes and safety guidelines and reporting any non-compliance
• Operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions
• Maintaining a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
• Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
