Position Overview
Reports to: Service Operations Manager
Work Model: Remote in East Germany for the regions Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, East Saxony (Görlitz, Bautzen, Dresden, Meißen) and from East Holstein to Lauenburg (#)
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer in the Service Low Voltage department, you are responsible for acquiring service projects in the field of energy transmission and distribution, with a focus on the East German market. You have internalized the service mindset and see your strength in cultivating customer relationships.
You are primarily responsible for:
- Acquiring new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers
- Advising and supporting your customers in all service matters and identifying potential for additional service business
- Creating solution concepts for the renovation and modernization of existing switchgear and components
- Continuous monitoring and analysis of market and competitive situations
- Continuous tracking of offers and support of associated contract negotiations
- Supporting and advising your colleagues in project planning and execution
Qualifications
- Study in electrical engineering with a focus on energy technology, or alternatively a technician or master's degree in electrical engineering
- Several years of professional experience in sales or a sales-related position, ideally in the service sector
- Knowledge of Salesforce is advantageous
- Fluent German and good English language skills
- High customer and market orientation, negotiation skills, and pronounced communication skills
- High willingness to travel up to 85%
