Location: Jordan

This role is contributing to the Electrification in Jordan.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to implement the service strategy and drive service growth at the respective unit level. Each day, you will lead the Service organization and be responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and to optimize the utilization of Service resources. You will also showcase your expertise by running the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Establishing, developing, and leading the overall ABB Service operations in Jordan, ensuring the implementation of the Electrification Service strategy in alignment with the global Electrification Service Division and EMEA Region initiatives
  • Reporting on progress on the implementation of the Group strategy to the Middle East and Africa Cluster, Service Division, Electrification
  • Defining service sales and delivery targets
  • Taking full responsibility for the profit and loss of the local Service organization and ensure the achievement or overachievement of annual service budgets (Safety, Integrity, Orders, Revenues, Profit, and Cash)
  • Driving service growth by leading growth initiatives
  • Managing business-led collaboration and facilitating cross-segment commercial arrangements related to bundled service offerings
  • Identifying white spots and defining strategies to increase installed base coverage
  • Promoting synergies and developing service delivery processes to enhance efficiency, aligned with the Group Service strategy
  • Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Encouraging the sharing of best practices and success stories across the global Service community
  • Being accountable for building an effective, capable, and high-performing organization

Qualifications for the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or business management
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record in P&L management and a minimum of 3 years of experience in service operations management
  • Management experience in sales and/or sales support, with a demonstrated ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends
  • A driven, innovative, and proactive leader with strong persistence and a collaborative mindset
  • You thrive in a multicultural environment and inspire your team through clear communication and shared purpose
  • Forward-thinking and results oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English
