Your role

At ABB, we don’t just manage projects — we engineer momentum. As Service Projects Team Leader, you step into a role where every decision, every improvement, and every customer interaction helps accelerate the performance and reliability of the energy systems our world relies on.

You’ll lead our Project Management Office team and empower Project Managers and Service Coordinators to operate with clarity and discipline impact. Every project you oversee — and every project you personally deliver — helps accelerate performance, reliability, and customer value across Belgium and Luxembourg.

Your main stakeholders include: Customers & end users, Project Managers & Service Coordinators; Field Service teams; Supply Chain & Procurement and Finance & Controlling.

This role contributes to the Electrification Service Division in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and empower the PMO team, enabling high‑performance delivery across the full service project portfolio.

• Personally manage and execute selected key projects — setting the operational and behavioral benchmark for excellence.

• Promote a customer‑first mindset. Drive urgency, care, and qualitative service experience in every engagement.

• Partner with customers on‑site to identify operational improvements, eliminate pain points, and unlock new value.

• Oversee the project portfolio through structured reviews with project managers and leadership teams.

• Act as the escalation point for project challenges. Step in fast, resolve issues decisively, and set a path forward.

• Shape and implement the project execution strategy that keeps ABB ahead of customer needs — and ahead of the market.

What helps you succeed

• A mindset powered by initiative, technical curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• A technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or energy engineering.

• Experience as a (service) project manager in electrical engineering.

• Solid experience managing scope, cost, schedules, and external partners.

• Technical foundation in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, or repairing electrical components.

• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

• Flexible, and able to maintain oversight even during busy periods.
