Position Overview

Reports to: Service Team Leader

Location: Trapagaran area (Bilbao), with availability to serve clients in northern Spain

Work Model: Onsite

This role contributes to the ABB Electrification Solutions UPS Business. You will execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines, delivering quality customer service planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which you are certified to perform
• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points
• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities
• Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers
• Ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations
• Maintenance of the 24x7 on-call service within the team of technicians

Qualifications

• Higher Vocational Training, Engineering, or equivalent training in Industrial Electricity/Electronics
• Dedication, commitment and ability to work in a team
• Good social skills, ability to work autonomously and be resilient
• Driver's license and availability to travel
• Medium level of English: especially for the handling of technical documentation at the written level
• Office skills (Windows, Office suite, diagnostic tools, etc.)
• EU work permit

• Experience in similar positions
• Good mechanical capabilities
