Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will be working as Service Sales Specialist and will be the part of Motion business area for Service division based in Madrid, Spain. In this role you will be responsible for driving service sales process in collaboration with the Service sales manager , generating service sales opportunities and securing profitable sales within the designated area(s), focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and selling the entire service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units, building long term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

Driving service sales growth by implementing the service sales strategy, increasing installed base (IB) penetration, and promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value‑added ABB Motion service solutions.

Managing commercial performance, including market pricing reviews, sales planning, performance tracking, and corrective action recommendations, while ensuring accurate reporting in Salesforce.

Expanding recurring and long-term business by developing, negotiating, and securing Service Agreements, conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), and identifying modernization and lifecycle optimization opportunities.

Building strong customer relationships through deep understanding of customer needs, operational challenges, regulatory requirements, and by translating these into tailored service solutions with proper risk assessment.

Promoting ABB’s service portfolio and brand presence, representing ABB at customer meetings and industry events, and ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and reliability standards.

Qualifications for the Role

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
-
Minimum + 2 years of experience in service sales
-
You are experienced working within Spanish Market.

Solid understanding of Motion products such as Motors, Generators and Drives
-
You are at ease communicating in Spanish and English
-
You have sales, communication, and negotiation skills, and also teamwork, self-motivated and proactive attitude
-
Availability to travel to customer meetings, corporates training
