About the Role

The Service Coordinator plays an important role in planning service calls related to UPS systems in the electrification business in Switzerland. You will coordinate and plan the provision of the necessary resources, spare parts and logistics to ensure that service calls run smoothly on site. In this role you will report to the Head of Support Team and be the main point of contact for customers during the execution of a service order. You will optimise customer satisfaction by fulfilling all obligations and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating service technicians within Switzerland which includes efficient planning of service calls for our service technicians based on the following criteria: proximity, qualifications, urgency, etc., as well as planning and coordinating maintenance and repair work
  • Scheduling orders such as installations and commissioning and communicating with customers and the service team, planning daily activities
  • Monitoring ongoing resource planning and quickly adapting to changing circumstances, such as incidents, technician absences, appointment postponements by customers, etc.
  • Acting as a competent interface between customers and service technicians and ensuring customer satisfaction and business results

Qualifications

  • Completed training in a technical or commercial field
  • 3 years of experience in planning, working as a service dispatcher/coordinator with a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the maintenance, servicing, commissioning and repair of electrical equipment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP
  • Fluency in German required, English and French is desired
  • Italian knowledge would be beneficial
