This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Soft Bank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. Reports to: Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Work model: onsite
• Responsible for design and develop control systems for new projects according to customer requirements and ABB UI standards, including control circuit design, PLC programming, HMI screen design, etc.
• Assist mechanical engineers in technical consulting with customers, understand customer needs, and propose customers with solutions
• Write technical development documents
• Responsible for the commissioning and maintenance of the company's projects at the customer's site

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, major in automation or control
• 3 years or above experience on 3C industry automation is preferred
• Familiar with Eplan design software
• Proficient in at least one of the main brands PLC as Siemens or Beckhoff, etc.
• Familiar with various industrial fieldbuses (Profinet, Modbus, Ether Cat, etc.)
• Experience in CODESYS platform development is preferred
