Reports to: Global Head of Trade & Logistics, RA

Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Serve as the main point of contact for local trade authorities and business management, ensuring compliance with export control, sanctions, and customs regulations across all local operations.
- Develop, maintain, and implement trade compliance policies, procedures, and standards, including product classification, export license applications, and SAP GTS compliance processes.
- Monitor, manage, and mitigate trade compliance risks, conduct local trade reviews and audits, manage permits and authorizations, and report compliance updates to stakeholders.
- Implement trade compliance training programs, raise awareness, and provide guidance to local teams and management, maintaining internal resources such as Share Point and trade handbooks.
- Lead and develop Local Trade Compliance Officers (LTCOs), ensure effective use of trade compliance systems, and deliver on budget, targets, and performance objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience with business processes, supply chain, risk management, and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of export control, sanctions, and customs rules and regulations, with willingness to develop further expertise.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external authorities.
- Experience in training and advising teams on trade compliance topics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor and mitigate compliance risks.
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
- Leadership and people development experience, with the ability to guide and motivate Local Trade Compliance Officers (LTCOs).
- Willingness to travel as required and learn technical details of products, software, and technologies relevant to the business.
