Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and growing ABB’s channel ecosystem within Electrification Distribution Solutions, covering OEMs, distributors, panel builders, and strategic business partners across Malaysia.
The work model for the role is: , Onsite
This role is contributing to the **Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS)**in Petaling Jaya,Malaysia. Main stakeholders are ABB valued Customers & Partners. .
You will be mainly accountable for:

Driving channel sales growth by developing strategic account plans for OEMs, distributors, panel builders, and partners to achieve sustainable order, revenue, profitability, and market share targets.

Managing partner performance and channel governance, including Joint Business Plans (JBP), TPM reviews, pricing discipline, rebate frameworks, CRM forecast accuracy, and commercial policy compliance.

Expanding ABB’s market reach through channel programs, by strengthening partner capability, enabling product positioning, conducting technical and commercial engagement, and supporting specification influence with end users and consultants.

Leading cross-functional collaboration with segment sales, product marketing, tendering, and operations teams to ensure strong channel execution, conflict resolution, and seamless customer delivery.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of channel sales, partner management, or key account experience in electrical, industrial, or automation industries.

Strong network with OEMs, panel builders, distributors, and electrical solution partners in Malaysia.
-
Good understanding of Medium Voltage switchgear, distribution solutions, and channel sales models is highly preferred.
-
Proven experience in partner development, pricing governance, business planning, and channel conflict management.
-
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with high commercial discipline.
