Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to reduce labor hours, in alignment with business strategies focused on quality, efficiency, cost, and safety. On a daily basis, you will ensure the use of appropriate production methods, cycle times, equipment performance, and materials/components to support production targets. You will also demonstrate your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of new production processes to meet product cost targets and equipment investment budgets.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role is contributing to the factory of Electrification Smart Buildings division in Ramos Arizpe.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Identify and recommend improvement opportunities, and implement projects while ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and cost requirements.
• Approve process designs developed internally or externally, and perform final testing in line with project requirements.
• Support Production during internal/external process and equipment start-up, define action plans, and train relevant maintenance and production personnel.
• Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency; define and lead testing activities, set approval criteria, and select external providers.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience implementing engineering changes.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with electrical products and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with AutoCAD is desirable.
• Familiarity with Lean tools is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
