About the Role
Position Reports to: Project Management Group Leader
We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of junior project manager in the High Voltage Distribution Unit in Brno. The main task of this position is to manage projects from their assignment to delivery to the customer.
Work Model: On-site
Responsibilities
- Project management with regard to profitability, timely delivery and technical solutions
- Technical clarification of documents with the customer and support in solution design – communication predominantly in English
- Response to customer changes during the project and application of additional costs
- Monitoring and evaluation of order economics
- Communication with customers in commercial and technical areas
- Communication across the project team (design, engineering, production, etc.)
Requirements
- Secondary or higher technical or economic education
- 2–3 years of experience with project management
- User knowledge of MS Office
- English language skills at communicative level
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Customer orientation
- Activity, independence, willingness to occasionally travel
- Czech or Slovak language required
- Interest in the field of electrical engineering is a condition
- English at communicative level is a condition
- Communicativeness, good organizational skills and active approach are conditions

About the Distribution Solutions Division
The Distribution Solutions division ensures efficient, reliable distribution, protection and management of electrical energy, improves its quality and strengthens the resilience of the electrical grid. It offers targeted products and solutions for energy, industry and infrastructure, often providing medium voltage connections between transmission (high voltage) and end (low voltage) systems. Key elements of the offering are integrated ABB Ability™ solutions, including medium voltage switchgear with air or gas insulation (1–66 kV), indoor and outdoor circuit breakers, repeaters, fuses, contactors, relays, measuring transformers, sensors, motor control centers and low voltage switchgear for markets according to ANSI standards.
