Job Description:

The person hired for the position Operator Formulator V of will work at our3M Indianapolis, Indiana plant site.

As an Operator Formulator V you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Recognizes numerous process and product defects, diagnoses and performs process trouble shooting, makes a variety of process adjustments including temperature, line speed, air flow rate, positioning, centering, gap, etc.
• Must comprehend and utilize PLC & MMI computer-controlled interface with equipment.
• Uses test and measuring equipment in the manufacturing of finished goods.
• Uses pneumatic presses and punch out equipment.

Required: (Basic Qualifications):

• Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Work Rotating Shifts, Overtime, Extended Hours, Weekends, Holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage.
• Minimum two (2) months of operating production machinery.

**Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Minimum six (6) months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
