As a Summer Student Maintenance Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Support production operations by monitoring processes, ordering and staging inputs, loading semi‑finished materials, inspecting materials, and conducting quality checks to ensure products are released to standard.
• Leading innovation and sustainability.
• Implementing change and continuous improvement to drive growth and increase efficiency.
• Determining to do your best and challenge others to live and work differently
• Willingness to work rotating or midnight shifts, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Candidate must be a 2026 High School Graduate and have completed at least one semester of post‑secondary education as a full‑time student within the current year to qualify for summer work.
• Ability to work rotating or midnight shifts, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

Pay & Benefits:

• The starting rate of pay for this position is $20. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
