Job Description:

Efficiently manage assigned Channel partners in a geographic territory with focus on meeting and

exceeding Channel sales objectives for all 3M divisions

• Be a 3M Ambassador to the Safety & Industrial Business Group channel partners

• Utilize saleforce.com to update on activities, opportunities, sales projects and Account plans

• Conduct Joint Business Planning, JBP

• Set goals and growth strategies with management of prioritized Channel partners

• Review current business status & progress, quarterly

• Communicate & execute Merchandising programs & channel agreements

• Understand current penetration and develop programs for growth

• Develop appropriate DS Rep. Incentive plans for new business growth

• Engage with Distribution Marketing to

• Educate and list new products

• Develop MDF calendar and work pro-actively to maximize exposure in distributor marketing tools

• Develop and execute category management / conversion programs to gain share

• Purchasing, Planning, Logistics

• Execute promotions, Large Buys, price changes

• Understand logistical scorecards and resolve issues

• Work collaboratively with 3M sales, marketing and operational teams

Additional Job Description

• May cover some channel partners in Johor Bahru and Johor state in Malaysia

Qualification

• Few years Sales experience with proven results. Understand category management, motivational tools

• University degree. Basic understanding of finance, logistics, operations and good business acumen

• Motivated to broaden career options. Motivated to set and exceed goals

• Ability to have tough conversions, develop and follow processes
