The Impact You’ll Make in this Role:

As a Plant Engineering Associate you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.

• Provide support for: general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and service to production tasks.
• Assist in the documentation and implementation of maintenance procedures as outline by skilled crafts.
• Aid skilled maintenance technicians which may include, assisting in the troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of our operations.
• Assist in the establishment and maintaining of critical spare parts inventory in support of equipment reliability and up-time.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a two (2) year technical degree program in a maintenance related field.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• A basic understanding of shop equipment including hand tools, saws, drill press and welding with a willingness to learn
• Possess a high regard and understanding for workplace safety and housekeeping practices.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude is critical, as represented by academic performance and past experiences.
