The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading technical solution design and development within a global Salesforce environment
• Implementing scalable configurations, customizations, and integrations across the Salesforce platform
• Determining technical approaches to solve complex Salesforce challenges and optimize performance
• Willingness to understand the complexity of 3M systems on how to integrate salesforce into 3M systems and help with deployment activities.
•  Supporting the global onsite and offsite teams with build, deploy, and operational activities

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Overall 8 years , Three (3) years of Advanced salesforce development and/or functional experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• In-depth understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the Salesforce platform is required.
• Strong technical foundation: advanced structured programming (APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java), relational database concepts and structures, structured system analysis and design methods, etc.
• Understands web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce.
  Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical disciplines from an accredited institution
• Five (5) years of Advanced salesforce development experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Skills include strong judgment, decision‑making, ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and manage high‑priority tasks effectively
